SABTACO is now represented on the Board of Directors of the Joint Building Contracts Committee (JBCC) by Mr Thabo Hlabela, who succeeds Mr Paul Kgole in the role.
The JBCC produces the standard suite of building contracts used across South Africa’s construction industry — the documents that govern how projects are procured, awarded and delivered. A seat on its board places our members’ expertise where it counts: in the room where the sector’s contractual standards are set.
Mr Hlabela carries our mandate for transformation and technical excellence into that work, and we thank Mr Kgole for his service and the foundation he leaves behind. We look forward to what this representation will mean, both for our members and for a more inclusive built environment.
