Who We Are

A national voice for black technical professionals

Established in 1990, at a pivotal moment in South Africa's transition to democracy, we were founded with a clear mandate: to address the underrepresentation of black professionals in technical fields and to create pathways for their full participation in shaping the country's infrastructure and built environment.

We hold formal seats on major national industry bodies including JBCC, BEPSA, SAFE, and IBACF, and maintain active relationships with government departments at ministerial level.
